In Kingsley Primary School we provide a broad and complete education in a fun, lively approach to learning, based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales.  We build on skills and knowledge students should acquire by the end of Key Stage 2 in order to facilitate their learning in Key Stage 3. We believe that learning with us produces well-mannered, holistic and well-balanced individuals who are passionate and responsible toward themselves, school, community and the nation.

Excursions and educational field trips in Key Stages 1 & 2 are an integral part of purpose filled learning for all our students.  We believe these aspects of learning horns their ability to apply the concepts learnt to practical aspects of learning. Homework is provided throughout Key Stages 1 & 2 in a measured quantity.  Homework is given as a tool of measurement for the teachers to gauge the understanding of the students on the lessons learnt for the week and to consolidate the lessons taught.  Students are assessed throughout Key Stages 1 & 2 by the individual teacher assessment which is carried out in Term 2 and Term 3.  Students are also assessed based on assessment for learning to facilitate every individual’s progress in learning.
